Thurlstone Crossing 1978

I just stumbled upon this box on a visit to the peak district. It was just to the west of Penistone station on the Woodhead route. Rather unusually for a box that supervised a level crossing, it was switched out when this picture was taken (a bank holiday I seem to remember).
