Crowle 1992

This modern box replaced an earlier structure. Situated on the ex. GC line from Doncaster to Scunthorpe it originally controlled a level crossing until the road bridge (visible in the background) was built. At the same time the canal swing bridge was closed. The main pivot of this bridge is visible in the foreground. The box still survives as a platelayers cabin.
